Data recovery prices
The first consultation is free and the quote is firm. Here is what each kind of recovery costs, so there are no surprises.
What you pay, and when
The first consultation is free. It tells us whether the fault is logical (deleted files, formatting, corruption) or physical (a mechanical or electronic failure), and which route gives the strongest chance of getting your files back. You then get a firm quote before any paid work starts.
If we cannot recover your data, there is no charge for the recovery. All prices exclude VAT.

Donor drives and replacement drives
A physically failed drive sometimes needs parts from an identical donor drive. You buy the donor yourself and we send you the link to order it. If you would rather we bought it for you, we add a 30% mark-up, plus any import charges and VAT.
We can supply an external drive to return your recovered data on. The price depends on the market rate at the time.
